MISSION STATEMENT

We offer innovative, modern continuing education in the health sector and integrate international health professionals into the German health system.

ICF - Interkulturelles Centrum Freiburg is an independent educational service provider. We see ourselves as a regionally active educational institution in Baden-Württemberg. We attach great importance to fixed locations with a good anchorage to the actors of the respective labour markets.

OUR GOAL

Our goal is to support international health care professionals in successfully bringing their professional profile and experience from their home countries into the German health care system. To this end, the ICF team advises and supports international health care professionals in the recognition of foreign qualifications, carries out qualification measures with them and thus enables them to make a good start in the German health care system.

People are the focus of our work. In a spirit of partnership, we support our participants in adapting to the German healthcare system and finding the right place for themselves there. We attach great importance to equal opportunities, tolerance and honest dealings with one another. We see ourselves as a learning institution that is open to innovation and reacts flexibly to changing conditions in education and the recognition process in the health sector.

OUR CUSTOMER-ORIENTED MISSION STATEMENT

  • ICF understands customer orientation to mean that all service processes are clearly structured, consistent and transparent for the benefit of the customer. This applies both to the participants and to the players in the regional labour market (companies, agencies, job centres, associations and the public). Only the continuous cooperation with all actors enables a constantly increasing qualitative improvement of the ICF and on the other hand also for the customers.
  • The cooperation with people of different interests and cultures is a challenge and enrichment for us.

  • We do everything to enable our customers to participate in society in working life and in the labour market.

OUR MISSION AS AN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION

  • With individually tailored offers we impart knowledge, promote potential and motivate people to take the initiative.
  • Our overall objectives: We ensure flexibility, quality and profitability of our services through efficient, transparent processes and structures as well as through the effective use of resources.

OUR QUALITY PRINCIPLES

  • Quality assurance system according to §178 No. 4 SGB III in conjunction with § 2 Para. 4 AZAV.
  • All offers are based on a didactic-methodical concept.
  • Each work process is designed to make the learning experience of the participants as positive and productive as possible: Careful selection of teaching materials, comprehensive performance tests and focus on customer service and customer satisfaction.
  • ICF works with dedicated instructors who are qualified in the field of adult education and who receive regular training and further education.
  • Personal advice for all participants: Every participant begins at ICF with a personal consultation. At the beginning of each offer there is a personal discussion and a tailor-made needs analysis, so that we can respond individually to the needs of our customers.
  • We deal with customer satisfaction in every conceivable way: We determine satisfaction with our offers by regular evaluations in all areas.
